What is E-Sim fraud ?

Now the news is coming in that people are being victimized by crores of rupees by e SIM fraud.

Since 2014, Vodafone and Airtel have adopted the concept of the e sim.

The SIM is  two types.  One was the physical SIM and the other was the E SIM.

This e SIM does not support all phones.

Latest versions such as the iPhone 10 and Google Pixels all have the concept of e sim.

How does it work?

On the e SIM supported phone we will first have to go to the settings.  Then the cellular plan has to be set-up.  Then you have to scan the qr code.

Let us know where we get the Qr code.

If you are using Airtel you have to text esim space email id to 121.

If you are using vodaphone you have to text esim space email id to 123.

Then qr code will come to your email id after confirmation.

Your physical sim is turned off.
